NIRO TO LEAVE HOSPITAL

Frank Niro, Executive Director of the U.S. Chess Federation is expected to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow, Saturday, February 8.   I have spoken to him and he is doing very well.  A full recovery is expected and tests showed there was no damage to his heart.

The medical cause seems to have been a blood clot.  Stress was not a factor and he expects no
restrictions on his ability to perform his duties.  Frank is eager to return to work as early as next week.
